Experience in the concepts of DevOps and Infrastructure as code. Experience with Cloud infrastructure and networking. Microsoft Azure training and/ or certifications. Minimum 5 years of technology experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Build processes and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications leveraging Infrastructure as Code. Design, manage, and monitor hybrid workloads across VMWare and Azure infrastructure and platform services (IaaS and PaaS) including new system and service builds, HA/DR requirements and configuration. Act as a last level of escalation for major company impacting issues, while collaborating with other Technical teams and our Service Desk. Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level objectives. Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts. Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning. Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures. Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and application availability. Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve. Design, manage, and enhance identity management solutions leveraging Okta, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory domains using security best practices. This role is based out of Revantage's headquarters in Chicago, IL. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure, the Systems Engineer role is responsible for administration, security, design and maintenance of Revantage and other portfolio companies' enterprise application and data infrastructure.
